Our clients, Headstart Total Body, booked a ghd technician for an event in their salon. They asked theSALONzone to promote the event to their customers. We designed an invitation that we emailed to their clients via Kitomba. We also posted the invitation on their website and facebook page. We created an event page on facebook and posted a few reminders over the month.

We are happy to report that the evening was fun and successful, with over 40 clients attending! Prizes were offered, as well as a gift with purchase when buying a ghd iconic series styler.

Thank you to everyone who braved the icy winter weather to attend our ghd Style Evening.
Tess and Jody from ghd were absolutely fantastic. They encouraged everyone to be a little more creative with their styling by demonstrating techniques such as bevelling, ribbon curls, water waves and barrel curls. Everyone then took the opportunity to try out techniques with Tess, Jody and the Headstart Total Body team available to give pointers.
When asked about the best way to ensure a style will hold, Jody explained that products are imperative because they lay the foundation for styling. She recommends a ghd thermal protector to guard against heat and damage, and ghd Creation spray to hold your look. Jody advises that ‘less is more’. You only need a light spray, then comb through for even distribution.
